stark simplicity of the contemporary laminate finishes,

This
cornice evolved from a
some-what more conservative style, the Diplomat, featured in our
Gallery.
The keystone at right conceals the connection
of two pieces to create a cornice for a large sliding glass door that measured
nearly twelve feet across. The fabric matches furniture upholstery. Here's what our customer had to
say after her cornice arrived:
"Dear Tom,
Sorry I have not got back to you sooner, but
the cornice is wonderful, we put it up the day it came and it looks terrific.
I promise to send you pictures of it as soon as I can . Thank you so much for
everything, it is a pleasure to do business with you, I would recommend your
company highly. I wish I had more windows to do."
"Absolutely use me as a very satisfied customer, I am already telling all my
friends about your work and what a pleasure it was to deal with you. Thank
you again."

Our customer's Massachusetts residence had been decorated by a professional
before she purchased the home, but the previous owner removed four cornices
before vacating. Using a photo of the original cornices, our direction
was to "capture the look!" We accepted the challenge, and Mary
responded enthusiastically!

"Tom,
The cornices arrived this evening and I am absolutely thrilled! They are just what I wanted and more. First off, I thought my husband would have to coat the wood because of his chemical sensitivities. Then I thought I would have to struggle with the border paper. Your work is absolutely fabulous!...
Thanks, Tom, for a job well done.
Sincerely,
Ida

Another Testimonial...
"I am sorry it took so long to get back to you. My husband was off yesterday
and he opened the cornices. He did not get them hung yet, but they are
absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much. I am very pleased. The color is
perfect with my furniture. I appreciate all the time you took and the way
you stayed in touch with me. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
Thank you,

The challenge here was to come as close to matching the antique bookcase
and furnishings
that graced our customer's client's home. Using solid
mahogany and custom stains and finish...
mission accomplished! The perfect compliment to London Shades. Another satisfied
customer!
